An upcoming workshop titled ‘Breaking Barriers using Innovation Procurement as a Strategic Tool’ is set to be a focal point at the European Week of Regions and Cities. This collaborative session, led by the UA Partnership in cooperation with URBACT, EIC, and ICLEI, aims to provide insights into the strategic potential of innovation procurement for urban development.
The City of Haarlem, in collaboration with Urban Agenda Partnership Public Procurement, EIC, URBACT, and ICLEI, will showcase the integration of three EU-funded projects: PROCEDIN, PROTECT, and LIFE Future Proof Artificial Sport Pitches. These projects offer inventive solutions to pressing urban challenges, and the session is expected to influence how cities approach innovation.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 11th, from 16:30 to 17:30 CET, when this in-person event will convene thought leaders, city planners, sustainability experts, and innovators in Brussels. The objective is to encourage collaborative discussions and inspire forward-looking urbanisation strategies.
