Join the EU Clusters Talks: “Innovation procurement: How to best match demands and solutions”

Startups and SMEs play a pivotal role in fostering innovation, enhancing European competitiveness, and spurring job growth. Nevertheless, they tend to face the challenge of aligning their products with market needs. Innovation procurement emerges as a solution, compelling SMEs to create custom-tailored solutions that cater to the specific demands of buyers, ultimately benefiting both public and private entities.

How do startups and SMEs ensure that their innovative solutions will meet the needs of public buyers? What insights have today’s guest speakers acquired regarding how innovation procurement procedures can more effectively address demand-side needs?

To tackle these and numerous other questions, The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, representing the European Commission, DG GROW, organises the EU Clusters Talk: “Innovation Procurement: How to best match demands and solutions” on 13 September 2023, 8:30 – 9:45 CET.

The EU Clusters Talks serve as a platform for sharing insights and discussing topics relevant to clusters, with the agenda evolving for each session. Speakers include experts from DG GROW, Andalusia’s Public Procurement Innovation Office, International Cleantech Network, and TICBIOMED. The event is part of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform’s (ECCP) cluster community meetings, offering insights into industrial policies, projects, ECCP updates, and funding opportunities. It’s open to EU and SMP/COSME participants, with compulsory pre-registration by September 13, 2023, at 7:30 CEST.
